Refund policy

Terms

• Under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you may return unused products purchased online for a full refund within seven (7) days of delivery, without providing a reason, provided the product is in its original, unopened packaging.
• Beyond the 7-day CPA period, unused products in their original, unopened packaging may be returned for a refund within thirty (30) days of delivery.
• The refund will include the full purchase price and proportional shipping costs paid for delivery. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• We reserve the right to deduct any return shipping fees or import duties billed to us by the return carrier from the refund amount.
• This policy does not affect your statutory rights under South African law, including the CPA or other applicable national or provincial regulations.

Return process

1. To initiate a return, visit your order confirmation page using the link provided in your order confirmation email or contact our support team at [email protected]. Click the "Initiate return" button on the order page.
2. Select the items you wish to return, and we will provide our return address for shipping.
3. Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) days and issued to your original payment method.
4. For orders paid with bitcoin, refunds will be issued in ZAR at the fiat value of the order, using the exchange rate at the time of the original payment or the refund issuance, at BitWaldex’s discretion.
